Job Description:
Colleague is currently looking for a Fleet Manager in the Dallas, TX Area. The Fleet Manager will be working for an upscale Residential Landscape Company. This would be a full-time, direct hire opportunity. Candidate needs to have at least 3 years of Fleet Management with large and small gas and diesel engines.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and coordinate all maintenance and repairs for vehicles and equipment
· Monitor fuel usage and costs, and implement strategies to reduce expenses
· Track vehicle and equipment usage, and optimize routing for maximum efficiency
· Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
· Manage a team of drivers and equipment operators, including hiring, training, and scheduling
· Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve fleet performance and reduce costs
· Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in the landscaping industry
· Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair procedures
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
· Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards for fleet operations

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
