SalaryThe Fleet Manager responsibilities include:
- Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility,
- Purchase/lease, acquisition, implementation, maintenance, safety of all tractors,
- Manages a full-service Fleet Maintenance shop with one supervisor and 20+ mechanics,
- Executes major repairs (engine rebuilds, trailer chassis rebuilds, transmission repair), routine preventative maintenance (for 120+ tractors and 700+trailers),
- Accident investigation and recovery,
- Employee and labor relations regarding contract application, resolving labor disputes, participate in grievances and arbitrations and comply with collective bargaining agreement,
- Develops operating budget and capital expenditure plans for the department and
- Ensures regulatory compliance with all state and local laws and regulations.
