- Manage vehicle utilization
- Maintain the Master Fleet Inventory list
- Maintain vehicle insurance, registration, recalls, etc.
- Make vehicle repair decisions when the manager/supervisor is unavailable
- Maintain reporting on the maintenance of all vehicles
- Work with employees and leaders to ensure registrations of all vehicles are up to date
- Oversee pool car maintenance
- Ensure all drivers have proper license
- Quickly and effectively respond to questions and requests from the Field regarding fleet
- Monitor drivers to ensure adherence to proper driving practices
- Support the fleet’s safety culture by providing trainings when requested and as needed
- Provide reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progress
- Review cost and operational trends and recommend improvements
- Communicate effectively with department leaders to assist with budget accountability and compliance
- Compiles and analyzes data, making calculations and preparing reports as requested
