Financial Specialist.

Spherion, in partnership with American Family Insurance, is currently recruiting a temporary Financial Insurance Specialist available to start as soon as possible!

Highlights:

• Temporary (6-month duration) with the possibility of extension
• Pay Rate: $22/hr
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm CST
• Hybrid role with 10 days in office required/month

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy of data entry by reviewing the work of peers
• Process changes to accounts as requested by the team
• Document accounts with financing notices, customer interaction (phone and email), and actions taken
• Answer phone calls from agent customers with financial questions (have I gotten paid, etc.)
• Convert electronic files (PDF/text) in various formats to Excel to upload information into the system and pay commissions

Qualifications:

• Proficiency/Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and Adobe, familiarity with Teams is a plus
• Accounting/finance background
• Customer service experience
• Insurance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of accounts payables, receivables, etc.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive and willing to learn new tasks
• Team-oriented
