A Member Service Specialist will play a key role in the success of PFCU by combining friendly, helpful member service with knowledge in all our lending and deposit products. Member Service Specialists build solid and long-lasting relationships with our members.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately process member transactions, in person, on the telephone or via the internet.
- Meet with members to explain the credit union deposit and lending products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
- Encouraged to develop relations in community and/or civic organizations to communicate the mission and values of PFCU.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
- The Credit Union trains internally for all positions. A college education is a plus, but not required.
- Must possess a willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively with members, potential members and employees.
- Must have the ability to accomplish the described duties using appropriate computer and general office equipment.
- Must be versatile and be able to work at any PFCU office.
