Our Financial Planning & Analysis department seeks an Advisory Services Manager to lead and execute internal consulting projects. This position will work with executives and senior leaders across the organization to identify high-value business performance improvement opportunities and initiatives. This role will also define the scope and approach, provide enhancement recommendations, and work with various internal departments to deliver on transformative initiatives. This individual will lead a team of three direct reports and deliver on enterprise-wide initiatives. 

The pay range for this position is $150,000 - $210,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance. 

Be ready to:

  • analyze complex business processes and make recommendations within the context of predefined strategies
  • conduct gap analyses versus recognized leading practices
  • work with company management to add value while maintaining independence and objectivity
  • define and perform sophisticated data analysis
  • develop and present external consulting firm grade engagement deliverables
  • display the highest level of professionalism

Be equipped with:

  • comprehension of the insurance industry, including property and casualty, life and reinsurance
  • the ability to identify opportunities that will lead to meaningful business results
  • strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, particularly with business leaders across various functional disciplines
  • a proven track record of successful delivery on large, transformative initiatives
  • excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to various levels of management
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • the ability to work independently, as part of a team with professionals at all levels, and across multiple functional disciplines
  • a willingness to lead by example and foster an environment that enables ongoing development and mentoring of Advisory Services staff
  • skills to prioritize tasks, work independently on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
  • motivation to devote the time and effort necessary to meet deadlines
  • flexibility to work extended hours

Bring education and experience from:

  • a bachelor's degree (required) in accounting, finance, engineering or a related business or insurance field
  • three or more years of professional consulting experience (preferred)
