Form of workSupports the company's Financial Planning, analysis, and reporting functions. Assist in providing valuable insights, forecasts, and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making. Encompass various financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis. Partners with cross-functional teams to help drive the company's financial performance and growth.
1. Collaborate with business partners to develop and maintain the annual budget and periodic forecasts. Analyze historical data, industry trends, and business drivers to prepare accurate financial projections.
2. Monitor and analyze actual financial results against budget and forecasts. Identify and explain key variances, trends, and potential areas of concern or opportunity.
3. Support the implementation of Oracle EPM Cloud (i.e., design, testing) and lead organization wide training/education for employees utilizing the functionality within them (e.g., workflow, reporting, etc.)
4. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support long-term Financial Planning and scenario analysis. Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and profitability improvement. Provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, Merchandising, and Marketing, to understand their financial needs, provide financial guidance, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
6. Respond to ad hoc requests for financial information and analysis from senior management, supporting the company's evolving needs.
7. Drive process improvement, implement best practices, and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CFA is a plus).
2. 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a retail or consumer goods industry.
3. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
4. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
5. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset.
9. Experience with Essbase, SAP, and Oracle EPM is a plus.
