Financial Controller (Spanish Speaking)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their team. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for meticulous analysis, control, and development of action plans addressing variances in the income statements of various activities. This encompasses proactive management of discrepancies in accounts per service and the overall country results. You will play a crucial role in highlighting key issues in the financial statements and recommending corrective measures to align with budgetary compliance and the company's overarching goals.
Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of financial operations, including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Liaise with external auditors and oversee the auditing process.
• Implement and maintain effective internal control systems.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals.

Requirements

• At least 5-10 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English, with professional proficiency in Spanish for presentations in Spain.
• Proven leadership experience in a corporate setting.
• Experience in developing and implementing budgetary improvement plans.
• Strong experience in reporting results and indicators to headquarters in multinational companies.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Advanced skills in financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Benefits
Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 USD annual
Work Hours: Office standard hours (9-5pm)
