About the Opportunity:
- One of the top private and prestigious universities in Cambridge, MA is currently looking for an experienced Financial Assistant to join their growing team
- Ranked #1 in QS Global World Rankings 202 2 and one of the top academic institutions in the world
- Mainly, you will be providing financial support to 7-8 faculty staff within the Chemistry department
Financial Assistant Responsibilities:
- M onitoring account activity and expenditures for compliance
- Reconciling account statements and salary expense reports
- Preparing monthly projections
- Will look at all the grants and calculate what spend will look like for 3, 6, and 9 months out
- Reviewing and approving invoices
Financial Assistant Qualifications:
- B achelor's D egree with a F inance related background
- Must have prior experience working with grants and be comfortable with calculations
- Proficient in MS Excel
- S trong organizational skills
