Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing financial data within the NetSuite platform. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, extracting and analyzing financial information, and providing insights to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Utilize NetSuite to generate accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with finance teams to develop and manage budgets and forecasts within NetSuite, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Data Analysis: Extract, analyze, and interpret financial data from NetSuite to provide insights into business performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare budgeted vs. actual financial performance, identifying key drivers and areas for improvement.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models within NetSuite to support scenario analysis, strategic planning, and decision-making.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with finance, accounting, and other business teams to understand their financial reporting needs and provide data-driven insights.
- System Optimization: Continuously explore and implement ways to optimize NetSuite configurations for financial data management and reporting.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst with expertise in NetSuite financial management.
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite financial reporting tools and functionalities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- NetSuite is preferred
