ABOUT YOU:
This entry-intermediate level role provides key accounting and analysis support for assigned SG&A cost centers and business segments.
YOU HAVE:
- Technical skills. Excellent technical skills in accounting, with strong systems aptitude and PC skills, specifically spreadsheets (Excel), database (Access), general ledger experience and financial reporting software. Preferred Oracle systems, G/L experience, and BI Technology (Tableau/Power BI).
- Attention to detail. Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills required.
- Great communication skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization.
- Experience. 1-3 years of related experience. Preferred SAP BPC financial reporting software experience.
- Education. 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance.
YOU WILL:
- Month End & Year End Financial Accounting Close. Coordinate requirements for monthly accounting closes as it relates to SG&A categories as assigned. Establish appropriate accruals for monthly balance sheet reporting. Assist in month end accounting close by preparing necessary journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts. Monthly reporting of SG&A spending, variance analysis to plan and prior year and comments. Quarterly and annual requirements for corporate reporting, audit and SOX compliance.
- Quarterly Forecast & Annual Planning. Support assigned SG&A departments and assigned balance sheet accounts.Assist in the annual planning and quarterly forecasting for SG&A cost centers as well as the balance sheet
- Advise. Support department managers with SG&A questions.
- Help. Ad hoc reporting to support SG&A analysis. Participate in finance projects as determined.

Our Finance team combines traditional financial planning, analysis and accounting with collaborative business decision-making and strategy, directly supporting leadership in Marketing, Sales, Digital & Operations. Team members are expected to analyze data and provide recommendations across our specialized products lines including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products and Professional Sports.
