Anchor Talent has partnered with a manufacturing company in Northeast Austin in the Automotive industry to identify a Financial Analyst to join their local team. This company is building a new state-of-the-art facility for the production of automotive components, so this opportunity is great to get started in a career as one of the first members of the Austin team.
The Financial Analyst will support and be responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of production, sales, cost of goods, non-conformance tracking, as well as other financial aspects to support the business and productivity for both America and Mexico. Working in SAP, as well as working with financial consolidation and reporting tools.
Responsibilities
- Plan and align with plant managers expenses (Audits, Legal, Foreign, Trade, Tax Advisors)
- Preparation of financials for forecasting, and P&L
- Generate and release financial statements in USD AND MXN
- Working with leasing liabilities and assets, foreign exchange rates, forecasting, budgeting, and tracking according to GAAP principles.
- Perform and execute Audits both internally and externally
- Responsible for generating financial statements for company
- Reconciliation of internal accounts to evaluate strategic business alternatives
- Responsible for reporting and financials
- Balance Sheet reconciliation, reporting, and journal entries
- Working with teams in Mexico as well as America
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish
- 3+ years of working with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) as well as working directly with financials for a manufacturing facility.
- 2+ years of working as a Financial Analyst in the manufacturing industry
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, and Advanced Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 DOE
