Financial Analyst

Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Greenville, NC 27834
Hours / Schedule Monday through Friday, On site - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Type: Temp, 1 year
Responsibilities

• Execute various accounting tasks, including intercompany transactions, prepaids, and accrual accounting
  
• Support month-end closing activities
  
• Formulate and update accounting policies and procedures pertinent to assigned responsibilities
  
• Support Concur and P-card programs
  
• Review or prepare reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts
  
• Establish and maintain detailed procedures for all desk-level activities
  
• Aid in coordinating and managing audit programs and meeting SOX requirements
  
• Provide transactional support as necessary
  

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, with at least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, and familiarity with US GAAP and SOX OR
  
• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, with at least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance, and familiarity with US GAAP and SOX
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel
  
• Exhibit technical ability to create, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data / reports
