Program Dates: June 3, 2024- August 9, 2024
Location: 3420 Toringdon Way. Charlotte, NC
Work Model: Hybrid (in office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday)
Responsibilities
· Review and analyze new project development and acquisition opportunities, including the review of data rooms/project documents/financing documents.
· Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for renewable energy projects, including project feasibility, risk assessment, and financial modeling.
· Perform market research, organize data, and prepare executive summaries.
· Assist with tracking performance of renewable energy investments.
· Assist in maintaining files, file structure, and naming conventions.
· Translate data into usable formats for analysis and reporting, which may include data normalization, aggregation, and data cleansing.
Desired Qualifications
· Coursework in Finance.
· Excellent quantitative problem-solving and analytic skills.
· Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
· Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
· Financial modeling and data mining skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Data tables).
· Strong attention to detail.
· Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to work autonomously as well as part of a highly collaborative and high-performance team.
· Bias for action; acting with the appropriate degree of urgency with an ultimate focus on delivering results.
· Excited about the transition to a cleaner energy market.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $22
Bonus: $1,000 payable upon successful completion of the first week of the program.
