Position: Field Training Manager
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday. 7:30AM – 4:00PM.
Annual Salary: $80,000 - $100,000.
Job Summary: Hunt's Services is seeking an exceptional Field Training Manager to lead, develop, and grow a dynamic team of technicians. This individual will play a pivotal role in achieving revenue growth targets through effective leadership, team development, and training. Success will be measured through tangible metrics such as conversion rates and revenue generation, as well as intangible factors like employee development, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Integrate the Service Systems Approach and Structure into the daily work of Technicians.
- Coach and guide technicians on building trust and rapport with customers.
- Provide coaching on soft selling skills and setting/attaining revenue goals.
- Conduct field rides, observations, Curb Side Reviews, and weekly 1-on-1 coaching discussions with technicians.
- Manage team training.
- Conduct peer-led learning sessions in each department.
- Recruit new talent through referrals, word of mouth, and job fairs when needed.
- Collaborate with Safety Leader on promoting safety in the field.
- Meet with Best Practice Coach once a month.
- Host and develop Technician Meetings for the department and contribute to all Technician Meetings agenda.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in the Service/Trade Industry.
- Knowledge of Building Codes, safety regulations, and safety practices. (Preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in basic math and conversion of measurements.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints (preferred).
- Experience as a supervisor or manager of people.
- Customer-facing experience.
- Conflict resolution skills, selling skills, problem-solving skills, budgeting skills.
- Leadership, Manager, and Supervisor training.
- Familiarity with Service Titan and Customer Relationship Management Tools (preferred).
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
- College or additional training (Preferred).
- 1 year in a manager or Supervisor of people role (Required), 3 Years (Preferred).
- Valid Driver’s License (Required).
Physical Requirements:
- About 30% of time in the office and about 70% in the field with technicians.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
