What you will be doing:

• Supporting Water Resources engineering projects through a variety of field investigations of stormwater and wastewater collection systems.
  • Performing infrastructure inspection of various utility system components such as pipes, manholes, ponds, and detention basins.
  • Operating pipe inspection crawler / remotely operated vehicle (ROV) for the purposes of pipe condition assessment (stormwater and wastewater pipes).
  • Installation, maintenance, and operation of flow meters for monitoring stormwater or wastewater flows.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Self-starter and ability to work independently or in a team.
• This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid drivers license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEHs Driving Program.
• Ability to clearly communicate with coworkers and the public.
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs without special assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors, with occasional work in light rain/snow/cold temperatures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (NASSCO)
• OSHA 10 Construction Safety Training
• Confined Space Safety Training
• HAZWOPER 40-hour Safety Training
