- Build consumer centric programs that leverage brand equity and uniquely fit the objectives of the customer.
- Develop and execute Customer and Shopper Activation programs, in partnership with the customer and cross-functional teams to extend brand strategy while delivering profitable sales growth.
- Work cross functionally with the brand, Shopper Marketing, and consumer promotions teams.
- They will be a champion of a culture of teamwork and sharing, helping accelerate the development of a high-performance team.
- Develop and execute Customer Activation and Shopper Marketing programs, in partnership with the customer and the cross-functional teams.
- Provide strategic leadership around digital activation and consumer engagement.
- Elevate customer plans by working with the customer merchants and customer marketing teams to drive meaningful ways to reach the shopper.
- Proactively analyze and measure activation program results, KPIs, and return on investment against internal and industry benchmarks.
- Identify business building opportunities to set strategy and drive efficient and effective programming.
- Responsible for select customer and shopper activation programs from start to finish including annual planning, writing agency briefs, customer presentations, creative reviews, and program evaluation.
- Maintain timely flow of reports, program evaluations, proposals, and project estimates.
- Provide point-of-view on appropriate spending against retailer-initiated activations.
- Evaluate activation programs to include findings/recommendations related to program performance, ROI, sales results and include relevant market information.
- Work closely with the Omnichannel and Digital teams to develop a customized strategy with customers.
- Leverages existing activation inventories and helps secure resources to develop the next evolution of customer and shopper activation.
- Ensures appropriate resources and funding are identified and secured for implementation of customer and shopper activation strategies.
- Anticipate and respond to customer and sales team needs, visits retail environments regularly.
- Acts as liaison for field team to headquarters related to Shopper Marketing and Consumer Promotions.
