Summary
Develops annual Commerce Marketing programs (flow and periodic) to drive consumer awareness and conversions at the point of purchase, across on-premise, retail and customer.com (as needed) for an assigned brand(s) and/or portfolio. Drives timely creation and execution of programs which support the brand/and or portfolio vision. This could include point of sale elements, digital elements, partnerships, sell sheets/decks, hero creative, brand activation guidelines. Leads brand activation through IMP for assigned brand(s) and/or portfolio(s). Develops plans based on brand objective and inclusive of needs and requirements of Customer Marketing and Brand Activation. Skilled at brief writing, project management, and as SME on Agile marketing teams. Gathers and applies insight from forwarded deployed Commerce teams as well as all available data and insight sources. Manages A&P budgets as assigned.

- Through IMP, Development Activation Plans and Playbook, develops programs or elements to capitalize on opportunity, competitive shift or gap to plan outside of IMP on brand equity/strategy and within budget. Launches program through Customer Marketing and in partnership with DRIVE/sales planning.
- Creates scale yet nimble programs that ensure A&P efficiency.
- Ensures consumer and customer insights drives the plan, resulting in targeted execution.
- Drives for break through programming to drive efficiency and outsized share gains.
- Experts in understanding of and translating Consumer Decision Journey to 360-degree programs, both flow and periodic. Work in integrated way with MarComm and Digital teams to ensure cohesive programs.
- Utilizes a variety of traditional and on-premise data sources to analyze relevant business drivers and deploys best practices to measure channel success and ROI. Gathers insights by observing and analyzing new trends in restaurant/bar and retail industry in addition to competitive activity.
- Manages agency relevant to commerce marketing programs/brands.
- Manages all resources marketing expenditures in a highly effective and efficient manner.
- Maintains satisfactory attendance to include timeliness.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree plus 3 years of communications, finance, marketing, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, process engineering, CPG Shopper Marketing or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of communications, finance, marketing, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, processing engineering or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of Gallo experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Required to travel up to 40% of the time to perform job duties.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration degree plus 3 years of Gallo brand marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration plus 5 years of marketing, sales, winery operations, data analytics/sales development or supply chain experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Multiple Gallo marketing rotations.
- Experience training and developing junior level brand marketers in executing brand and organizational objectives.
- Experience managing business operations and leveraging basic finance and accounting principles.
- Experience effectively presenting information to top management, public groups and boards of directors.
- Experience writing speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Experience with end consumer and retail trade consumer product marketing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations with all levels of employees.
- Customer-oriented, with strong project management and organization skills.
- Experience taking direction from multiple individuals located in various parts of the country.
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
- Skilled in reading, analyzing and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
- Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Skilled in presenting information to top management, public groups and boards of directors.
- Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel at an intermediate level, MS Access and MS PowerPoint at an intermediate level; IRI, Brio and Spectra at a basic level
- Skilled in applying advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations.
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
- Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instruction in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Compensation
- Hiring salary range posted: $86,220 - $143,600 / Annually
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
