Field Operations Specialist
KBR, is currently recruiting for a Field Operations Specialist, to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our customer, Project Manager Intelligent Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A), Product Lead Intelligence Enablers (IE).
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provides process management services for all staffing functions related to tracking, monitoring or delegating actions to meet PL Enablers reporting responsibilities and monitoring of organizational requirements or efforts to include:
- Tracking assignment and close-out of actions generated internally or from external sources.
- Create procedures and protocol check lists to aid team in accomplishing essential tasks.
- Track personnel movements in support of CONUS/OCONUS support efforts, ensure personnel are aware of travel requirements.
- Onboard and train new employees to ensure they adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintaining data stores, files, archives and repositories.
- Supporting staff synchronization and collaborative connections.
- Attend meetings and facilitating strategic engagements with external stakeholders.
- Coordinating with key partner organizations.
- Receive input and maintain schedule of key engagements, fielding events for systems within the IE portfolio.
- Processing, tracking, and disseminating reports.
- Assisting with leader level or technical visits.
- Facilitate weekly team meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of Program Management Reviews.
- All other duties as assigned to meet customer needs.
- Provide support services related to refining or tracking actions to efficiently operate. Services may include the following:
- Tracking special duty and ad hoc actions.
- Coordinating facilities management.
- Assisting with security functions.
- Preparing quarterly/annual reports.
- Participating in IPTs and coordination meetings.
- Preparing meeting minutes.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS plus 5 years of related.
Contract Requirements:
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of related work experience is required.
- Army Intelligence experience is highly desirable.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of fifteen (15) years of related work experience is required.
- Army Intelligence experience is highly desirable.
- Detailed-oriented with technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Direct experience as a technical expert in military intelligence and/or military operations.
- Must be capable of understanding mission operations with the ability to convey how the PMO material solutions apply to related military operations.
- Demonstrated experience with review and application of technical guidance (e.g., operations manuals, configuration documentation, etc.) to PMO material solutions.
- Direct liaison experience with military, civilians and other contractors to recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service.
Required Clearance:
- Must have an active Top-Secret w/SCI.
Travel:
- Less than 10% travel is expected for this position.
- Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
- This position will be co-located with customer and other contractors in Government office spaces -
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
Contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
