POSITION SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the insurance industry with existing independent broker relationships. Essential Functions:
Business development with independent insurance agents across our entire territory.
Developing and implementing marketing strategies for both existing and prospective customer base.
Developing new and fostering existing relationships with independent retail insurance producers to develop quote activity which will lead to achieving monthly premium goals.
Developing comprehensive marketing plan to facilitate current business growth initiatives, as well as comprehensive analysis of competitors.
Analyzing market trends to evaluate, develop and implement strategic plans to meet and exceed organizational goals. Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology or Business is preferred, but not required.
Must possess strong computer/technology/systems skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills are required.
Strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
Critical attention to details.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel.
Proven track record of being a team player.
May be required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
