Managing projects from initial concept through finished product, your clientele will include some of the nation's premier landscape architects, real estate developers, higher education institutions, corporate campuses and more. The landscape industry is a creative and diverse market; no project, client or day is ever the same.
The Job Requirements:
Project Management
- Manage client projects from initial concept through finished product placement
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory
- Identify and prioritize potential customers, including architects, designers, contractors, municipalities, and other relevant stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging opportunities
Sales and Product Promotion
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations via Zoom and special in-person visits to prospects, clients and landscape architects
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute territory-specific marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Attend occasional trade shows, conferences, and industry events to represent the company and generate leads
Customer Engagement
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving customer issues
- Offer product recommendations and solutions that align with customer needs and project requirements
- Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure customer specifications are met
Sales Reporting and Forecasting
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions within the CRM database
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to set and achieve individual and team goals
