OnelinkUSA has an immediate opening for a Field IT Technician. As a Field IT technician, you will install, service, and maintain internet and TV hardware and software systems at various multi-family properties.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, communication cabling and other various low voltage cabling systems.
Develop and execute training programs for various technical aptitudes.
Designing and installing computer networks, connections, and cabling.
Troubleshooting system failures and identifying roadblocks in the network.
Fixing problems in LAN infrastructure and testing and configuring software.
Maintaining and repairing hardware including peripheral devices.
Evaluating network performance to improve the network.
Scheduling upgrades and maintenance without interrupting business workflow.
Proving technical direction and giving training to coworkers about network systems.
Working with vendors to get needed equipment for the networks and systems.

The Superior Candidate will:
· Have 3 to 5 years’ experience.
· Be a detailed oriented and highly motivated individual.
· Have good time management skills.
· Have the ability to work in a team as well as independently.
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· Have the following technical skills: power cycling, running diagnostics Commands, conducting whole unit replacement, inserting/removing media, replacing defective components, assist with fault diagnosis and investigation, configuring remote Access, basic storage array configuration, replacing faulty cables, fiber splicing and testing.
· Be able to provide support either through phone, remote tools, or in person at onsite property.
· Be able to perform installation as needed either through physical or network medium.
· Be able to carry all necessary tools, laptops, etc. which might be needed to support issues in the infrastructure environment.
· Be able to perform labelling, patching, and asset tagging activities.
· Be able to perform specific task instructions and provision necessary reporting.
· Be able to perform the above for at least 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. May be required to work overtime, after hours, or weekends, for emergencies, or on-call.
· Be able to follow and establish safe work practices.
· Be about to work in all weather conditions.
Qualifications:
· Must have a valid driver’s license.
· 3-5 years as a network technician, or related position.
· Bachelor of Engineering/Technology/Science or equivalent work experience.
· Clean driving record with no violations
· Must be 21 years of age.
· Must be able to pass background, drugs screen, and MVR check.
· Must be able to travel.
