Managing Systems and Networks:
Hospital IT technicians are responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
They ensure that all hardware and software components are up-to-date, secure, and functioning optimally.
Troubleshooting network issues, connectivity problems, and system errors is also part of their job.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Electronic Health Records (EHR):
These technicians work with electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring that patient data is accurately recorded, organized, and accessible. They collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate EHR systems into daily workflows.
User Support and Training:
Hospital IT techs provide technical support to hospital staff, including doctors, nurses, and administrative personnel. They assist users with software applications, hardware issues, and connectivity problems. Conducting training sessions for staff on using hospital-specific software and systems is also part of their role.
Security and Compliance:
