The Opportunity
This position is an onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We are helping people with Diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we're committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels.
As a Staff Product Performance Analyst, you will Initiate and execute the Field Action related activities and is a key contact for internal and external facing customers. Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Code of Federal Register (CFR), and other governmental regulations. Communicates Field Actions via regulatory reports and written communications, as appropriate. What You'll Do
  • Responsible for implementing and executing the Field Action process through completion.
  • Develops strategies and project manages Field Action activities by working cross-functionally with the appropriate SMEs.
  • Independently completes Field Action documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with business standards.
  • Works with the appropriate business functions to assess Field Action communication effectiveness as needed.
  • Responsible for managing and tracking Field Action responses and updates to regulatory agencies, ensuring timely submission to the appropriate regulatory authorities.
  • Responsible for compiling the Field Action documentation package and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Acts as the Field Action SME for quality audits.
  • Responsible for managing and tracking responses to regulatory agencies.
  • Project manages quality escalations and works cross-functionally with appropriate SMEs.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
  • Understands and complies with applicable EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Works under general supervision of more experienced staff who review results for overall accuracy, completeness and sound judgment; identifies and quantifies technical risks and their consequences relative to the success of part of a project; recommends appropriate action; decisions or recommendations would typically achieve department / project objectives; drives functional performance to ensure that cross-functional standards and expectations are met; may assist in the training of personnel as directed by management; may mentor others.

Experience You'll Bring
Required
  • Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Masters Degree preferred
  • Minimum 9 years of Related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and application business concepts, procedures and practices.
  • Uses in-depth knowledge of business unit functions and cross group dependencies/ relationships.
  • Is recognized as an expert in work group.
  • Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
  • Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Has broad knowledge of various technical alternatives and their potential impact on the business.
