Dewberry currently has several rewarding opportunities to support communities’ recovery from major disasters through the Dewberry Disaster Recovery Services group and our Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) disaster housing contract work. Our contract vehicles support FEMA’s efforts to provide Temporary Housing to survivors of major disasters across the United States and its territories. Dewberry is currently searching for a Disaster Temporary Housing Task Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assist with task order management activities including leading teams of staff mobilized to disaster recovery operations across the United States and its territories in support of Temporary Housing missions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related field (equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree, if applicable)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience including five (5) years of project management experience
- Strong leadership skills managing teams of professionals and technicians
- Proven record of successful execution of complex projects
- Knowledge and experience with infrastructure design and assessments, residential development and construction, quality assurance, construction cost estimating, and scheduling
- Knowledge of FEMA disaster recovery programs including the Direct Housing program, preferred
- Excellent verbal, people, and written communication skills
- Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Must be able to deploy to an alternate work location for up to twelve (12) months working in excess of 50 hours per week
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation to include criminal, financial and driver’s history.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance as required by federal contract
- Must have a clean driving record and able to maintain a valid driver’s license in order to operate a company, personal, or rental vehicle
