John Fraser Restaurant Group is currently seeking a Task Force Breakfast Manager to join our team at the Wall Street Hotel. As a Floor Manager, you will be in charge of guiding the staff in service and overseeing the overall operations of the Food and Beverage outlets. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent food and hospitality and possesses the skills to lead and motivate a team. This position is temporary, lasting for a duration of minimum 3 Months Beginning in May with possibility of a permanent hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- MUST BE AND EARLY RISER- 5am Start,
- Oversee the guest experience
- Hustle and engage during service offering hands wherever there are gaps
- Observe and solicit guest feedback
- Quickly resolve service quality issues and ensure guest satisfaction at all times
- Help interview, hire, and train new staff members to join the team
- Conduct pre-shift meetings on a daily basis
- Directly oversee all Front-of-House service during operations including, but not limited to service staff and hosts
- Support and maintain an on-going training program for existing staff; keep manuals and information updated
- Participate in weekly Managers’ meetings and other staff meetings as scheduled
- Always adhere to NYC DOH standards for sanitation and maintain the current "A" rating
- Maintain high standards of quality control and health and safety
- Provide input on schedules and payroll
- Provide attentiveness and excellent service to VIP guests within the hotel
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managing capacity
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Must be reliable and available for as early as a 5:00am call time
- Team-orientated and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and electronic, are required
- Well versed in Microsoft Office, Excel, and can easily adapt to new technology
- Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for long periods of time and have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Certification in NYC Food Protection License required
