Federal Pricing Analyst
The Pricing Analyst will work with cross functional teams to formulate best pricing responses in a timely manner. He/she will analyze and make profitability recommendations to management for all Federal price requests including official RFP responses and existing IDIQs. This position requires excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, and compliance skills, as well as superior communication, and relationship building abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to RFPs and bids for the Federal business channel. This entails reading each RFP carefully, understanding terms and conditions, studying price templates, and outlining any financial concerns.
- Oversee the maintenance of the price structure and financial documentation upon contact award.
- Maintain up to date familiarity with GSA Schedule, Federal BPAs and Open Market contracts.
- Present executive leadership with sound recommendations and workflow decisions to ensure that pricing issues are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Adhere to FAR regulations, best practices and procedures regarding pricing.
- Log all price requests and tracks win/loss for future reference and reporting.
- Responsible for handling all information regarding financial compliance.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance or Marketing) or equivalent experience
- 4-5+ years of related federal government contract pricing experience to include:
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience independently writing cost volume sections of proposal responses
- Strong understanding of the FAR, specifically part 15, and subsequent compliance
- Experience working with various teaming partners to develop pricing strategies that adhere to requirements, evaluation criteria, and enhance pwin percentage
- Experience working with relevant government procurement and pricing sources such as: SAM.gov, USASpending.gov, GSA eBuy, and FPDS
Highly Desired Skills:
- Previous Veterans Affairs pricing experience
This position is full time and offers a remote work schedule (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance).
