The Safety & Security Director, Bureau of Farm Show, is directly responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Farm Show Complex, employees, visitors, contractors, partners, property and assets. You will be required to have a high degree of professionalism, the ability to perform and manage multiple tasks, and a solid background in security management. You will be required to manage difficult situations with the ability to make quick decisions. You must have the ability to create safety policies, procedures and plans specific to facility and client/event needs. You must effectively and efficiently communicate and train subordinates, coworkers and clients on safety protocols and plans.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment,37.5-hour work week.
- This is 24/7 facility, days and shifts will vary based on operational needs.
- This position requires overtime based on show schedule and operational needs.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or
- Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Experience in Facility Safety & Security
- Experience in Law Enforcement
- Experience in writing Safety & Security Protocols
Legal Requirements:
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
