EnerVenue is looking for a Failure Analysis Technician to join our growing start-up company. As a Failure Analysis Technician, you conduct Failure Analysis on Nickel Hydrogen battery and all of its components. You will be a detail-oriented point person for all findings related to failures and quality concerns. We offer competitive compensation, a friendly atmosphere, and more!
Responsibilities
- Organize and carry out Failure Analysis work to support cross functional teams
- Be able to safely lift the loads up to 50 lbs
- Perform Failure Analysis tear downs and develop clear and concise reports
- Detail oriented and high attention to defects
- Determine Battery test solutions that optimize for product reliability and durability
- Preparing test reports and documentation
- Closely collaborate with Quality and Engineering groups
- Ownership of all FA documentation
Education & Experience
- 1 or more years' experience in battery Failure Analysis/root cause analysis - advantage
- 1 or more years' experience in the chemical lab environment - requirement
- Experience in a lab/shop management - requirement
- Experience with machine shop equipment – bandsaw, grinders, hand tools - requirement
- Extensive knowledge of quality management methods and testing procedures – requirement
- 2 or more years' experience in structured problem-solving and troubleshooting in the production environment
Salary Range:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
