Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Technician to oversee all building-related activities in Fremont, California. You will be responsible for maintenance of facilities of manufacturing building for machining, welding, assembly, gasline products for semiconductor equipment industries. The candidate will work closely with the city, counties and state in filing and securing facilities unfractured permits. The candidate will work closely across varies function such as: architects, general contractors, facilities engineering and other functions as required.

Responsibility

• Lease management, including lease administration and accounting
• Capital project planning and management
• Maintenance and operations of production floor for machining, welding, gaslines and assembly products for semiconductor equipment industries. Class 1000, 10000 cleanroom management. DI water facility management.
• Energy management
• Occupancy and space management
• Employee and occupant experience
• Emergency management and business continuity
• Real estate management
• Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
• Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
• Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors
• Control activities, parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
• Allocate office space according to needs
• Handle insurance plans and service contracts
• Keep financial and non-financial records
• Perform annual analysis and forecasting during budget process

Qualifications

• Proven experience as facilities technician or relevant position. Knowledges in machining, welding, gaslines and surface treatment products for semiconductor equipment industries a plus
• Knowledge in class 1000, 10000 cleanroom requirement, and chemicals in ultra precision cleaning operation a plus. DI water facility management experience a plus.
• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Good analytical/critical thinking
• BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM, &HFM) will be an advantage.
• C10, PE license a plus

Office Locations

Santa Clara, California. We adopt hybrid working policy and partially remote from home workable. International travel maybe required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
