As a Facility Maintenance Technician you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. This position involves a variety of tasks, including performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, managing a cleaning crew and working on facility improvement projects as well as managing construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate cleaning crew for janitorial tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or installations.
- Assist in setting up and tearing down equipment for events or projects.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Respond to facility-related emergencies as needed.
- Support efforts to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in Facility Maintenance or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for emergencies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
