Facilities Technician

Overview

Element has a current opening for a Facilities Technician to join our growing team in Santa Rosa, CA. The Facilities Technician is responsible to ensure the facility and equipment are clean, safe, and well maintained. 

Responsibilities

Facilities:

• Complete building rounds and respond to requests and/or emergencies
• Facility cleaning and maintenance, including HVAC system and generator and documentation thereof
• Monitor and test safety equipment (i.e. air velocity measurements, shower/eye wash units, emergency lights)clean cGMP manufacturing rooms according to internal SOP's

Equipment:

• Assess equipment maintenance and/or repair needs
• perform minor plumbing, heating and air conditionalassist in preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance of all building equipment

Skills / Qualifications

• Familiarity with HVAC systemsAbility to manipulate janitorial and construction tools
• Identify and interact with contractors for specialized or licensed repair/maintenance upgrade work
• Ability to move/lift 50 pounds, mop/vacuum floors
• Ability to work safely around hazardous materials
• Ability to wear respirator
