Facilities Technician

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a leaders in the engineeringand manufacturing of innovative fuel storage systems, in its search for a Facilities Technicianin Lake Forest, CA. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to facility maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in drywall, painting, plumbing, and electrical work. For immediate consideration, we encourage you to apply today.

Key Responsibilities:

Drywall:

• Repair and install drywall as needed throughout the facility.
• Patch and texture walls to ensure a seamless finish.
• Address any issues related to wall structures and surfaces.

Painting:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and patching.
• Apply paint and other finishes to various surfaces.
• Ensure color consistency and quality of the finished product.
• Touch up and repaint areas as required.

Plumbing:

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures.
• Install and maintain plumbing systems as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential plumbing problems.

Electrical:

• Perform electrical repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and address electrical issues in lighting, outlets, and other fixtures.
• Install and replace electrical components as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of proven experience as a Facilities Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in drywall repair, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to facility maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
