LifeLong Medical Care is looking for a Facilities Technician to join our team. The Facilities Technician will work under the supervision of the Maintenance/Safety Operational Manager on a variety of facilities and maintenance related tasks at our sites in Oakland, Berkeley, Pinole, Rodeo, Richmond, San Pablo and Marin.
This is a full time, 40 hours/week, benefits eligible position.

Responsibilities- Under general supervision, independently performs a range of maintenance, repair and renovation work.
- Work activities may include but is not limited to installing faucets, and clearing drains; installing outlets, switches, replacing ballasts, fixtures; installing and adjusting door hardware; wall framing, patching and painting; and assists with mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
- Assists in ensuring the safety of occupants and building users.
- Performs minor maintenance tasks.
- Performs scheduled preventative maintenance checks.
- Performs scheduled yard and parking area clean-ups.
- Delivers office supplies, equipment and furniture to various locations. Mail delivery may be included as needed.
- Performs office setups and equipment assembly.
- Manages retrievals from and deliveries to storage; monitor off-site storage facilities.
- Carries out special projects as assigned by Maintenance/Safety Operational Manager.
- Maintains tools and equipment in good working order.
- Ability to work occasional evening or weekend.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

- Familiar with facilities building functions and trade, including;
- Light electrical
- Carpentry
- HVAC
- General maintenance functions
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Good computer skills required.
- Reliable transportation required.
