Under the general direction of the Facilities and Personnel Section (SSM I), the Facilities Support Analyst (FSA), is responsible for liaison functions related to the Disability Determination Service Division's (DDSD) facilities and other projects/assignments, as required.
The incumbent uses analytical skills to plan, develop, and implement special program related projects or studies. The FSA monitors and assesses the Division's facility needs and projects, according to closely controlled Federal and State budgetary allocations; and performs all tasks necessary to finalize projects.

Special Requirements
This position requires Federal fingerprint clearance and background check. Criminal record checks of prospective full- or part-time CDSS, Disability Determination Service Division (DDSD) personnel will be conducted. Applicants for this position will be required to submit fingerprints for Federal processing. Federal clearance is a condition of employment for this position. (Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12)

Training and Development assignments are considered limited term, 12 months, and may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview, but they must provide proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.
