Industrial Maintenance Mechanic II, Tool & Die Maker – 3rd Shift

Responsibilities:

· Fabricate precision parts from blueprints and drawings utilizing diverse machine shop equipment, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses.

· Perform comprehensive disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of injection molding molds.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues within production machinery, implementing effective repairs and modifications.

· Design and manufacture replacement parts to optimize equipment performance and uptime.

· Install and relocate equipment as required, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.

· Analyze and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, maintaining optimal production flow.

· Utilize arc and gas welding, metal fabrication tools, and precision measurement equipment with dexterity and accuracy.

· Uphold a deep understanding of environmental health and safety regulations specific to both the plant and department.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Tool and die certification or technical school diploma strongly preferred.

· Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in tool and die making or a related job shop environment.

· Proficiency in operating hand tools, layout equipment, rotary tables, precision measuring tools, voltmeters, drill presses, surface grinders, metal lathes, milling machines, furnaces, and welding/fabrication equipment.

· Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CNC operations desirable.

· Successful completion of audiometric testing and commitment to adhering to hearing protection protocols mandatory.

Salary: $112,000.00 - $154,000.00 per year
