Who we are looking for: Tugger Operator

Shift: Full Time

Location: Canton, MS

Department: Operations

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor

Summary: Candidate will use MEP ride-on equipment to clean factory floors/ pick up debris, sweep and mop designated warehouse areas, and clean handrails & Guardrails. Other janitorial duties may apply.

Responsibilities

• Loading boxed parts onto a pallet and storing them
• Use of tugger carts
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming • Machine Scrub floors (All Floors) • Other cleaning duties as needed. Qualifications • Must pass drug screen and background check. • A strong work ethic • The ability to work alone or within a team is a must
• Training will be provided.

Education/Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Six months of facilities experience preferred
• Six months of manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
