Facilities Maintenance Manager – Opportunities in Pontiac, MI Area!!
A national company with a facility in the Pontiac, MI area is currently seeking a full-time experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for Maintenance Managers looking for a company that offers excellent training, development, competitive rates, and excellent work-home life balances.
Facilities Maintenance Manager will be working a full-time day shift with pay rates anticipated to be $80K – $100K annually based on each candidates experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We offer excellent benefits including great medical, dental, and 401k.
Facilities Maintenance Manager will have most (if not all) of the following skills and experiences:
- Well rounded knowledge of trades and vendors for large institutional buildings including HVAC, boiler operators (union), Electricians (need to hire a Master Electrician), Elevators, Grounds Maintenance, Plumbers, etc.
- Solid experience with leading teams of union and non-union trades including hiring, training, organizing, allocating projects, etc. in a related environment.
- Solid experience with building maintenance for university, hospital, government building, public service or closely related facilities is essential.
- Solid experience with a CMMS system, as well as general computer skills with MS Word, Excel, etc.
- A BS in Facilities Maintenance is strongly preferred, similar education and / or experience in lieu will be considered.
- Must have hands on experience in trades - either plumbing, HVAC, or electrical.
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
