Repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances within the facilities. Complete other maintenance tasks as assigned, including but not limited to mobile equipment repair, facility maintenance/repair, 5S and Safety responsibilities.
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and upgrade all electrical systems within the facilities.
- Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery, mechanical, and electrical equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision-making and testing equipment in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
- Inspects and tests electrical lighting, signals, power circuits, and examines mechanical equipment to diagnose problems.
- Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical and mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures.
- Mounts motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and runs conduit/wiring from electrical panels and disconnect to complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Electrical certification required.
- Minimum 5 years Electrical Maintenance experience required.
- Knowledge of High Voltage Systems required.
- Electrical/electronic maintenance with experience and/or education in programmable logic controllers, variable speed drives and motor controls preferred.
- Robotic maintenance training desirable.
- Knowledge of Mechanical and Hydraulic systems preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Must be able to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, etc. Some standing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift a maximum of 50lbs.
- Must project a cooperative and positive attitude toward internal customers.
- Must be willing to work any shift and overtime as required to meet schedules.
- Must comply with all environmental, quality and safety rules, practices, and standards.
