Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, assures the company maintains proper qualifications/certifications and training and develops/certifies procedures to meet customer, government, and company requirements.
Job Responsibilities
1. Reviews manufacturing processes/advises engineering on optimization and / or potential problems.
2. May perform all skills in area of expertise and is multi-skilled.
3. Reviews new customer/planning requests for compliance on FAI jobs. Performs as "point of contact" for in-house Quality audits and or inquiries
4. Prepares and implements cross training, including theory and practice testing.
5. Reviews processes for optimal performance including; fixturing, tooling, tools and techniques.
6. Reviews discrepancies and uses analytical problem solving to identify and recommend changes to processes that address root cause.
7. Assists in developing best practices.
8. Assists in the development and maintenance of a business culture, which supports the Company's overall business objectives and goals, in issues that involve "cost, quality, process, schedule and people".
9. Ensures the company's commitment to maintain a safe workplace and to protect the Environment through the establishment and support of Company policy and adherence to various government regulations.
10. Fully complies with the "GKN Aerospace, Inc. Policy Statement on Contracting with the United States Government" in all areas of responsibility involving direct and indirect contracting with the United States Government. Ensure subordinate staff is aware of the policy and their individual responsibility and accountability for complying with it.
11. Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent
- 7+ years' experience in the field of process focus.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to train and maintain certification documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GKN Experience
- Computer proficiency is desirable.

•Lift up to 50 pounds
•Withstand loud noise of a machine shop environment
•Must not have a pace maker due to spark test-applicable to Chem-mill
Compensation Range
The compensation range for this role is between $35-37/ hour.
