Form of workAmentum seeks qualified Expert Geospatial Information Systems Administrator to support USSOCOM. A successful Expert GIS Administrator shall perform advanced level planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise level GIS associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applications.
Requirements:
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- 8 years of progressive GIS server experience.
- Highly proficient in administering and deploying open source and commercial off the shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment.
- Strong ability to write custom scripts for automation and analysis using Python, with knowledge of C# and Java.
- Expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis and exploitation of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant applications and databases.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Shall possess high/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data
- Obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DOD 8570.01 (Security +).
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 10 years of general experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems
