We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role will involve managing various aspects of our Microsoft platform, including Azure, Power Automate, virtual machines/servers, network management, internal user lifecycle, external customer platform end user support, backups, and more. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft platform components, including Azure services, Power Automate workflows, and virtual machines/servers and other Microsoft platform tools.
- Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Oversee internal user lifecycle management, including user provisioning, access control, and account management.
- Provide end-user support for external customer platforms, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical problems.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor system performance and security, implementing necessary updates and patches to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to design and implement IT solutions that meet business needs.
- Monitor and maintain company security campaigns and processes.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Manage communications and collaborations with VAR's for license, hardware, and software licensing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, preferably in a Microsoft environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including experience with virtual machines, Azure Active Directory, and other Azure services.
- Strong understanding of MFA and security principles and functionality
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
- Experience with Power Automate or similar automation tools is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
