Position: System Administrator
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer
Purpose: The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that all hardware, operating systems, software, and related procedures adhere to the organizational values.
This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include defining needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing, and rolling out the solutions. Participation in projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle.
This individual is accountable for the following systems: OSX, Windows, and Application systems; responsibilities on these systems include SA engineering and provisioning, operations and support, maintenance, and research and development to ensure continual innovation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing and conducting advanced troubleshooting and maintenance for connectivity, computers, switches, servers, phone systems, PA systems, mobile devices, applications, UPS, and other IT-related devices and software.
- Installing and maintaining the life-cycle of infrastructure equipment and servers. Applying technical knowledge and expertise to ensure operating systems perform efficiently.
- Managing VEEAM backup solutions for servers and other equipment. Applying technical knowledge and expertise to ensure operating systems perform efficiently.
- Ability to install, and maintain server hardware and software, and provide support to end-users.
- Ability to perform patching and updating of computer systems with WSUS or MDM.
- Ability to create a new computer/ user account.
- Ability to manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Informing the Chief Technology Officer of issues that could result in service outages or system-wide impacts.
- Monitoring critical services on a 24/7 basis, along with the Chief Technology Officer.
- Assisting the Chief Technology Officer with implementing and maintaining equipment inventory.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree
- 3 years or a combination of equivalent experience, education, and training.
- ?Must be proficient in English
