About the Position
The Golden State warriors are looking for an Executive Producer to lead and enhance the overall fan experience for live games and ensure every aspect of the game day experience contributes to fan engagement, satisfaction and brand loyalty. In this role, you will lead all aspects of programming and day-to-day operations for game presentation, including: live entertainment, music, video and graphic content, and contests. In collaboration with departments across the organization, you will produce a season-long plan that aligns with the promotional calendar, outlining an agenda for each game throughout the season, creating new entertainment options. You will look to constantly innovate and incorporate best practices while leading a team of operators, talent, and game-day team members. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive game day experience strategy aligned with the overall brand and marketing objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate game day elements into the broader marketing and branding initiatives

Fan Engagement
  • Create and implement initiatives to enhance fan engagement before, during and after games
  • Foster a fan-centric culture, ensuring that all fan touchpoints contribute positively to the overall fan experience

In-Game Entertainment
  • Oversee the planning and execution of in-game entertainment elements, including halftime shows, fan contests, and on-court promotions
  • Collaborate with external partners and agencies to bring innovative and engaging entertainment experiences to the audience

Technology Integration
  • Leverage technology to enhance the arena experience, including LEDs, mobile app, AR, etc.
  • Stay abreast on emerging technologies and trends in sports entertainment to continuously improve the fan experience

Game Operations
  • Coordinate with Game Experience, Scoreboard Operations and Arena Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of game day logistics
  • Develop and implement contingency plans for various scenarios to ensure a seamless fan experience

Partnership Activation
  • Work closely with Corporate Partnership team to integrate partner brands into the game day experience in a way that enhances the overall fan experience

Data Analysis
  • Use data and analytics to measure game day initiatives and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to fan satisfaction and engagement

Budget Management
  • Develop and manage the budget for game day experience initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and strong return on investment

Required Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing/sports management, or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years in sports marketing, event management, or a related field with a focus on enhancing fan experiences
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills; ability to lead large cross functional teams and external partners
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels throughout the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to generate innovative ideas for fan engagement
  • Knowledge of current trends and technologies in sports marketing and entertainment

Time Commitment
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the game schedule

Compensation
  • $175,000 - 185,000 + Bonus
