Summary:
The Video Content Manager works in close collaboration with the Creative Director and social team to develop, produce, and manage Video Content for digital marketing and social media channels. This role involves a diverse set of responsibilities around creating, producing and optimizing Video Content to engage a digital audience. This role requires exceptional creative concepting and execution skills to tell compelling stories in motion.
They will collaborate with creative leads and cross functionally with the social team to explore new approaches and techniques to editorial storytelling that align with our brand's unique visual identification. This role requires a passion to think beyond the obvious and generate work in unexpected and creative ways; the ideal candidate will have a willingness to explore the current and future of Video Content.
Duties Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, create, and produce engaging Video Content for various social media channels, ensuring it resonates with the target audience and outlined strategy.
- Lead and manage a team of editors, videographers and production staff, providing creative guidance, feedback, and support.
- Provide a mentorship and leadership role with social media content creators. This involves providing guidance, feedback and training to ensure that the team produces high-quality Video Content that aligns with the brand's vision and goals.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create video assets that support brand and digital campaigns, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach.
- Oversee the end-to-end video production process, from ideation to post-production, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Maintain high-quality standards for all Video Content, including editing, graphics, sound, and overall production values.
- Analyze data and insights to optimize Video Content for maximum reach, engagement, and conversion across social media platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and creative approaches to Video Content production.
- Manage budgets, equipment, and external vendors as needed to support video production needs.
- Ensure all Video Content complies with relevant copyright and legal guidelines, including music licensing and talent releases.

Requirements
• 6+ years of experience in production for a consumer-facing brand or agency
• Experience shooting creating content for digital platforms
• Filming with current camera standards in addition to iPhone capture and lighting indoors
• Excellence in visual design videography - animation skills are a plus
• Demonstrating knowledge of social media best practices and trends. Various social media platform knowledge
• High production video shoots, with a working knowledge of basic lighting techniques
• Extremely proficient in the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of video production editing tools including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or equivalent
• Ability to create compelling storyboards mood boards
• Excellent project management and organization skills: self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects and adhering to tight and demanding deadlines
• Academic background in videography
• Deep experience in studio lighting for video and photography for both models and Benefit product
• Communication skills with an ability to communicate project execution clearly
• Ability to travel
