Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas are clean, well-maintained, and in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient guest service and satisfaction
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Handle guest complaints or special requests related to housekeeping services
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is preferred
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and other departments
- Proven leadership abilities and the ability to motivate a team
- Knowledge of custodial procedures, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals
