Position Title:Executive Director

Reports to: Board of Directors (BOD)

Position: Full-Time, On-site, Exempt

Location: Tempe, Arizona

About Treasures 4 Teachers

Treasures 4 Teachers (T4T) is a nonprofit organization that focuses on supporting educators by providing them with affordable access to classroom materials and resources. T4T is a member based resource and supply store serving the educators of Arizona. This means that anyone who works closely with students can have access to a wide selection of materials, resources, and training that will enhance and expand the learning process.

As a donation-based operation, T4T accepts donated and surplus items from various industries, businesses, and individuals, such as office supplies, arts and crafts materials, and other educational resources. Therefore, T4T is able to provide low cost and free school supplies to its members. T4T also operates a thrift store which is open to the general public, so it is able to accept a much wider variety of in-kind donations.

T4T aims to alleviate the financial burden on educators who often spend their own money on classroom supplies. By collecting and redistributing surplus items, T4T helps educators stretch their budgets and enhance the learning experience for their students. Additionally, by keeping these surplus from being sent to the landfill or otherwise wasted, T4T provides community members with a sustainable way to dispose of unwanted materials.

The Role

As the Executive Director, reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future trajectory of T4T and guiding its strategic plan. If you aspire to make an impact on educators, which in turn benefits students and elevates their learning experiences, while promoting sustainability in your community, we invite you to submit your application.
