Job description

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

Amazon Web Services is seeking an exceptionally bright, multitasking and self-motivated individual to support our U.S. Customer Solutions and Architecture team. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.
Key job responsibilities
  • Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars
  • Manage complex calendar and scheduling requirements
  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items
  • Act as a liaison for direct reports
  • Drive key team activities, such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, and supply ordering
  • Update team organizational charts
  • Manage group logistics
  • Scheduling complex and cost-effective travel (domestic and international).
  • Participate in planning of events
  • Work with other assistants throughout the SA team and across the rest of the company

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
