Scope/Purpose of Position
Provide Executive Administrative support to the General Manager and Vice President of Automotive Glass Solutions. Demonstrates knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures. Maintains confidentiality with sensitive information both internally and externally. Handles calendar and conflicting priorities for the GM and the business team as required. External contacts involve obtaining or providing information on matters of importance to the organization and may be of a sensitive nature. Mentors, guides, and ensures a collaborative and supportive environment for the AGS admin team. Provides lead role in managing administrative and logistic details for our business work site in Sullivan Park (WW building). This role works closely with the AGS business team to track and report out on business objectives for reporting purposes.
Roles & Responsibilities
Support GM during business hours and after hours as required to help assure requirements are met by managing all aspects of calendar, phone, and travel.
Interface with all levels of Corning management, including Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and their assistants, Corporate Management Group (CMG) and their assistants.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role when handling information that is highly classified, critical, or sensitive in nature.
Collaborate with assistants across all businesses and functions, including CEO office on business meetings and logistics.
Serve as point of contact for customers at the executive leadership level.
Arrange complex travel (both domestic and international). Assemble required travel documents including visas and detailed itineraries. Request corporate aircraft as needed.
Event planning: for on site and off site business meetings, executive meetings/events, recognition, and team building.
Supports executive visits to Sullivan Park/AGS by working directly with SP event team
Mentor, guide and lead the AGS admin team
Provide administrative backup support to senior level management.
Compile and process expense reports using Concur.
Provides support to CES tradeshow for the business and GM
Partners with HR team on employee communications or events coming from the GM office.
