Job Summary and Qualifications

Technician you will maintain assigned patient and non–patient areas in a clean and sanitary condition. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. You will perform specialized cleaning tasks which involve operating heavy duty equipment and using special cleaning equipment such as low and high-speed buffers, carpet extractors, vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc.

• You will use a variety of cleaning devices and solutions in performance of job responsibilities
• You will performs assigned project work
• You will support the distribution and pickup of biohazard barrels, distribution of clean linen, pickup of soiled linen and the pickup of garbage as needed

What qualifications you will need:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of one-year of housekeeping experience within the hospital preferred

Riverside Community Hospital is a large acute care facility with 517 beds, established in 1901. It has the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County. The hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center and has a HeartCare Institute that offers both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures. Riverside has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which it is very proud of.
